I am interested in other peoples view point as to the Agri-Stability program.I think there are people in the agriculture industry who have some good ideas for a working program, better than what we are being offered.I invite anyone with a good idea for a program to answer this thread.I am a rancher who is fast facing extinction. Due to several years of declining margines I cannot seem to generate any help from Cais.Any payment that would be generated would come a year too late for my crediters anyway.Lets here from cattle men and hog men as well.

How many farmers know that AgriStability's main formula has been changed and ruined ???????.....(It was initiated by the Liberals and now rubber stamped by our present Conservative government ! )........

Converting farmer's margins (later this winter) from a cash margin
to an accrual margin will either diasterously reduce your margin
and eligibility ....to completely destroying your margin !

AgriStability's formula now is :

accrual (reference yrs) - accrual (claim yr.) = NO margin / no payouts

...which equals = NO MORE FARM AID !

All farmers and politicians should be calling to put the farmers of Canada
on mandatory accrual incometax (with a tax break the first year), get the
yearly farm losses into stats Canada (where NO politian can hide or manipulate or deny ).....and base farm support on a percentage (%) of a
farmers yearly losses, like the Gatt rules state !

This would STOP all Federal and Provincial governments (past and present) balancing the federal/provincial debt/deficiet off the backs of farmers and rural Canada !

Just like we have again, today !......there is NO more farm aid because
of the worlds (including Canada's) economic crisis / recession, and their need to spend monies to buy future votes for future elections !

All politians, all Canadian governments can put all farmers
on mandatory accrual incometax (with a tax break the first year
to get into it)........Then governments can support farmers
on their yearly losses like the Gatt rules state !

And once 'ALL' farm losses are in Stats Canada,
no politian can cover up, bury, or deny there is
a farm crisis or the magnitude of it.....even the
urbanites then can relate !

Once accrual incometax, all other farm programs
can be canceled, because no others would be needed
or required !

......Its official, there is "NO MORE FARM AID" in Canada !!!

Over a year ago I had informed our countries PrimeMinister Harper,
my provinces Premier Brad Wall, and both of my respective agr ministers
Ritz and Bjournerud that they ALL had destroyed Canada's main farm
support program's formula (Agri-Stability)by changing the reference
years aspect of it from cash numbers to accrual numbers.......

accrual # ( refer.yrs.) - accrual # (claim year) = no margins /no payouts

The Feds are now converting all Canadian farmer's margins from a
cash margin to an accrual margin ......resulting in margins dropping
anywhere from 30 % to 120 % (which depends on everyone's individual numbers).

I now have this confirmed from numerous MPs.............

And they "ALL" refuse to change the formula back, including our
Prime Minister, my Premier, our agr Ministers, MPs, etc.etc.etc.

FARMERS BEWARE !....All of our countries politians are prepared to
purposely bankrupt every farmer in Canada !!!

ps....The only program that is needed or that would work to address
Canada's farm crisis is "Accrual Incometax"......but all of our
countries idiot politians refuse ot use it !
